When you sponsor an event, you make a statement about supporting chess in Canada and supporting the players that are passionate about the game. Your sponsorship dollars can be used in a number of ways:
To allow talented and new players to participate in chess tournaments
To allow kids and other players interested in the game to register for one of our chess & fun camps
To help offset the costs of running our chess tournaments so we can keep the registration fees as low as possible
To help develop and run free chess training events and free tournaments for all to participate
And by sponsoring you also get the opportunity to promote your products and services:
Mention In Our Weekly Newsletter: If you don't want to remain anonymous, we will mention you in our Sponsor's Thank You Section of our newsletter for at least a month. This applies to any amount.
Mention at a Live Event: In addition to being mentioned in our online weekly newsletter, if you sponsor with at least $100, you will be mentioned at our next LIVE event (Online or In-Person)
Mention + Product/Service Promotion: In addition to the above, if you sponsor with at least $200, your products and services will be promoted in our weekly newsletter and during our next LIVE event (Online or In-Person)
Finally, you have the option to specifically direct your sponsorship funds. E.g. to sponsor a player that cannot afford to attend a chess event or to sponsor a kid to attend our chess camp. To direct your funds, simply send an email to ken@elevatemychess.com
