This is an online CFC Rapid-rated tournament to be played on lichess.org in one section - OPEN.

Event Description

This is a 5-Round Swiss Online CFC Rapid-rated tournament to be played on lichess.org in one section - OPEN. Pairings will be done in Lichess and there will be a 10-minute break between rounds.

When: Saturday, Jan 22, 2022. First Round starts at 10:00 AM EST (i.e. Toronto Time)

Where: Online on lichess.org

Format: 5 Round Swiss, CFC Active Rated. CFC or FQE membership is required for Canadian players and FIDE or USCF ID is required for others.

Round Times: Rd 1 starts at 10 AM and subsequent rounds follow with a 10-minute break between rounds

Sections: OPEN

Time Controls: 15 mins plus 10-sec increments

Registration Fees

$10 All Sections pre-registration. $15 after Jan 17th.

FREE Entry for IM’s and GM’s (Please email info@elevatemychess.com to be added to the tournament)

TOURNAMENT PRIZES – 50% of total registration fees collected will be distributed as Cash Prizes.
