Event Description

This is an online Rapid tournament to be played on lichess.org.

Format:

5 Round Rapid Swiss, CFC Active Rated. Pairings will be done using CFC Active Ratings. CFC or FQE membership is required for Canadian players and FIDE or USCF ID is required for others.

When: Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Where: Online on lichess.org (Go to https://lichess.org/team/emc-online-rapid-tournaments-open and join the EMC Online Rapid Tournaments – OPEN team)

Round Times: Rd 1 - 10 AM; Subsequent rounds follow immediately after Round 1. NOTE ALL TIMES ARE EST (i.e. Toronto Time)

Sections: OPEN

Time Controls: Rapid: 15 mins plus 10-sec increments

Registration Fees

$10 All Sections pre-registration. $15 after April 28th.

FREE Entry for IM’s and GM’s (Please email info@elevatemychess.com to be added to the tournament)

TOURNAMENT PRIZES – 50% of total registration fees collected will be distributed as Cash Prizes.
